On Saturday January 13, 2018, at p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a stabbing at Laurelhurst Park, located at 3601 Southeast Oak Street.
Officers responding to the scene learned that the stabbing occurred near Southeast Ankeny Street and Laurelhurst Place along the north side of the park.
Officers and medical personnel arrived and located two 16-year-old males suffering from stab wounds.
The driver involved in the crash that injured two officers was arrested on multiple charges and taken to jail early Saturday morning.
53-year-old Ken Thomas Neely was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Assault Three (two counts), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (three counts), Reckless Driving, and Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII). The driver involved in the initial incident and a third driver, who nearly crashed into another officer, were also charged with Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII).
